Katie dear... this is actually a funny story... I attended my first Korean Wedding, January 1st, where I sang for the bride and groom (From this Moment On by Shania Twain.... cheezy I know)... after the events, some people thought it would be fun to check out the outdoor fish market! It was smelly, oozy, wet, cold and I was wearing open toed heels, dressed in formal wear... my feet needless to say got soaked with "water" (I kept telling myself that's all it was, but the truth of the matter is that it was probably fish blood and guts mixed with water :P) Anway, the flowers came from the wedding (I caught the boquet!!!) and I managed to draw all sorts of attention to myself. I had my friend Richard back home do some "playing" on my blog and photos... he's really talented... I should probably be paying him for the work he's doing! HAHAHA! Hope that's a good enough story!
After being back on Canadian Soil for about 2 months now, I thought it might be time to update my blog, including my profile. Having spent the last year teaching in Korea, I'm thankful to be back home enjoying a much more relaxed pace of life - although I still need to find a day job! I have recently started teaching ESL in Chilliwack to Korean students so it's a little bit of deja vu, but something I'm familiar with. I am very glad to be back home, spending lots of time with my beautiful boyfriend and learning more about him each day!
Hope you all enjoy the changes to my blog - however minimal they are!
Enjoy!
(Esul, is the Korean name for morning dew... if you don't pronounce it right, it doesn't sound all that pretty, but when Koreans say it, it's so beautiful and I'm happy that I have such a beautiful Korean name... "Esul-cha")
